Numerical Simulation for Redundant Electro-Hydrostatic Servo-Actuators under Certain Special Conditions

This work presents some numerical simulations, performed using AMESim software, for a system composed by two redundant servo-actuators. Certain operating conditions are taken into account these electro-hydrostatic servo-actuators, which coupled to the command surface (aileron) of transport aircraft. We first considered situation slight asymmetries in construction then one servo-actuator fails at maximum flight speed, and medium finally we effect gusts upon system. Small differences servo-actuators were consideration modifying each pump displacements, +2% −2%, from nominal value. It is possible that many other exist such as different liquid leakages cylinders or pumps, small controller coefficients, so on. These should be future works. Our results provide evidence that, under operation situations significant overstresses can appear servo-actuator, leading decrease time operates correctly.
